Meet Alonet

I started Lil Oak because I believe merchandise should be an extension of the art itself. When you work with us, you’re working directly with me—from concept to final delivery.

My team keeps everything moving behind the scenes but you won’t get handed off or shuffled between people who don’t know your project. Just personalized attention and 20 years of expertise dedicated to bringing your vision to life.
— Lonnie Zarum —

Originally from London, I founded Lil Oak Productions in 2007 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. What began as a mission to repurpose film production materials evolved into a specialized partnership with museums, immersive art experiences, and cultural institutions worldwide.

My creative background spans dance (London Contemporary School of Dance), film, live events, and fashion—giving me a deep respect for artistic vision and the importance of translating that vision into objects people treasure.

Over 20 years, I've built relationships with manufacturers across the US, Mexico, China, and UK, allowing us to offer our clients options that balance quality, sustainability, timeline, and budget. I continue my education through programs at Harvard (Museums and the Law) and Cornell (Finance), ensuring Lil Oak stays current with industry best practices.

I've also served on multiple boards focused on community engagement, education, and cultural institutions—work that deepens my understanding of the organizations we serve.
